We love the holiday season and all the love, joy and togetherness that it brings! We wanted to highlight some of our favorite ways to deck the halls...
1. Homemade Potpourri
Skip the toxic stuff in the stores and rely on good ole’ mother nature. We love this version by Half Baked Harvest. Bonus: it also makes a great gift!
2. Handmade Holiday Decorations
String the tree with garland made of dried citrus which smells delightful and offers vibrant colors, or opt for a fun yet more traditional popcorn garland! Check out this beautiful citrus garland tutorial by Miss Molly Moon.
3. Zero Waste Gift Wrap
Avoid the seasonal wrapping paper waste and, when possible, wrap your boxes in a cute or classy tea towel. Another great option: packaging in a kraft box wrapped with twine and dried fruit, tree branches, pine cones and other materials from nature. Reusable cloth bags are a great option as well! At Humble Suds, we only use recyclable paper in our packaging and shipping materials. We found the ultimate guide to sustainable gifting over at INHABITAT!
